This phenomenological study explored eleven pilot-school teachers’ perceptions of their roles in and lived experiences of a national adoption and diffusion of Tablet PCs. Technology integration into classroom settings has many benefits, such as facilitation of teaching and learning, and providing engagement among learners (Grismore, 2012). In particular, Turkish Ministry of National Education has had a national project named FATIH (Movement of Enhancing Opportunities and Improving Technology). With this project, it is being planned to integrate different technologies into classrooms in Turkey. Because of technical and perceptional barriers, teachers described struggling with their roles in adoption and diffusion of Tablet PCs.
