Abstract

The use of affirmative action policies in higher education admissions have been largely discontinued, replaced by percent plans aimed at academic achievement in lieu of race. This study examines the effect ending affirmative action has had on minority student enrollment in flagship institutions for three states: California, Florida, and Texas.
