This paper aims to creatively disrupt the typical poster format by (re)configuring the embodied self and space of this AERA Poster Session. In order to reconsider the embodied spaces of an AERA Poster Session as alternative relations, practices, and learning potentialities, we aim to reimagine the form through a performative, art-based approach. We will explore how to (re/de)construct the inherited frameworks of the poster format, including knowledge production and lived curriculum. Specifically, participants will be invited to respond to open-ended prompts through artistic modes; as an interventionist site-specific installation, the poster session will be used to manipulate heterotopian space(s) of which it is a part.
