Abstract

In contrast with the increasing interests in the learning outcomes of higher education around the world, few or no test is available for such purposes due to issues related to language and curriculum. This may be solved through repurposing an outcomes assessment. In this study, we examined the measurement properties of a U.S.- based business outcomes test using 998 students from nine business programs outside of the United States, controlling for the programs’ business curriculum design and instructional language (i.e., English). Our results suggest a highly reliable test and unidimensional internal structure based the international sample. Both type of evidence support the practices of repurposing this test to business programs outside of the United States.
