This study examined the relationship between early language exposure (DCDP v DCHP) and the development of analogical reasoning in deaf children. We hypothesized that deaf children who have full access to language early (DCDP) will show better analogical reasoning development than deaf children who have intermittent language exposure (DCHP). The results of this study show a relationship between early exposure to ASL and the development of analogical reasoning in deaf children.
