E-Textbooks offer a new perspective into education. Precisely, there are various e-Textbooks available to fit students’ knowledge, abilities, characteristics and interests. This study discussed teachers’ perceptions on the use of a generation of e-Textbooks in K-12 classrooms. A survey was conducted on 76 K-12 teachers who use these e-Textbooks in their classrooms and sampled 10 teachers for interview. Even though teachers have generally good conceptions with e-Textbooks, it was discovered that their concepts weren’t parallel with the reality of the digital native students. We further identified key characteristics of e-Textbooks, made recommendations and hoped it could contribute to the instructional process of teachers and their conceptual change.
