This qualitative study describes student-athletes with learning disabilities and/or psychological conditions’ experiences of climate. Responses being analyzed are from the 2010 Student-Athlete Climate Survey (SACS) that was conducted at The Pennsylvania State University (Rankin, et al., 2011). The narrative description of approximately 300 responses to questions of climate in athletics and higher education generally, in addition to descriptive statistics on the individuals in the study, will help us better understand the experiences of these student-athletes on our campuses and provide them with the necessary support services to be successful.
