Many students in the US continue to learn in environments that are racially segregated, if not at the school level, at the classroom level. We utilize a longitudinal dataset to test whether segregated high school learning experiences influence academic achievement at the college level. Results indicate that individual race, school segregation, and academic tracking all play roles in influencing student outcomes.
