Abstract

This paper examines the intersection of linguistic and digital repertoires of Korean American ESL Kindergarten students. The study draws from ethnographic data in an ESL classroom and two homes of Korean American families. Drawing from the field of language socialization and theory of communicative repertoire, the paper reveals how Korean American children are socialized into diverse communicative repertoires in the classroom and at home through the use of linguistic and digital tools.
