In this paper, authors analyze the construct validity of the Culturally Engaging Campus Environments (CECE) Scale for Asian American and White college students. Specifically, they utilize factor analysis techniques to assess the construct validity of nine CECE factors and examine the reliability of these constructs for Asian American and White undergraduate populations across three institutions. The findings indicate that all nine CECE factors exhibit high construct validity for both subpopulations, providing some initial evidence that the CECE variables are a viable tool for measuring Asian American and White college students’ perceptions of their campus environments and the impact of those environments on outcomes among these populations. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.
