To examine predicting factors to Korean adolescents’ Internet addiction and the relationship among those factors, data collected from 3270 Korean adolescents was used. Findings supported that gender and the grade (e.g. junior high vs high school) at school are significant predictors to Internet addiction among Korean adolescents as male students and junior high students showed high score in Internet addiction. The findings suggested that academic performance, socio-economic status, self-esteem, and psychological well-being are significant predictors to Internet addiction among Korean adolescents. As for the relationships among factors, academic performance is significantly associated with socio-economic status, birth order, self-esteem, and psychological well-being while socio-economic status is significantly associated with Internet addiction, academic performance, self-esteem, and psychological well-being.
