Abstract

Kim Lawless co-directs the GLobalEd2 project (GE2) with University of Connecticut’s Scott Brown. GE2 leverages the inherently interdisciplinary nature of social studies to teach science and literacy. Using a technology mediated, problem-based simulation, the project cultivates scientific literacies, critical thinking and communication skills needed by 21st century citizens
