Abstract

Jim Pellegrino’s work, in collaboration with Neil Heffernan from WPI, uses the ASSISTments web-based system to structure opportunities for assessment of students’ mathematics knowledge including feedback and opportunities for guided practice. The system helps teachers monitor students’ learning and implement adaptive instructional practices applicable to regular instructional settings
