Web Tools for the Assessment of 21st-Century Skills in Higher Education

Abstract

Dr. Robles is an award-winning professor who has developed web tools for assessment of 21st century skills, specifically higher order thinking, communication and creativity, in university level courses in teacher education and statistics in the Philippines. She has presented her research at different international conferences in Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia, and published in several international journals. Dr. Robles was selected by the International Association for Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) as an Outstanding Filipino Researcher in 2013, and she was chosen by the Vice Governor of Sarangani in the person of Hon. Jinkee J. Pacquiao to be a Senior Consultant in Sarangani Province. Her presentation will focus on the advancement of the teaching-learning process and the significant implications of the 21st century skills for sustainable development.
