Session Type: Symposium
The present symposium aims to highlight international research contributing to a better understanding of the dynamics of the development of students’ subjective task values using a variety of advanced research designs and methodologies. Research investigating the intra-individual and inter-individual dependencies in the development of subjective task values will be presented along with research examining the influence of the educational but also the socio-economic environment. With data from Europe, the US and Africa, the present symposium will shed further light on the universality of subjective task values, its development and its educational importance.
