Women’s Religious Identity Formation in Educational Contexts

Abstract
Four presenters and a discussant speak to the intersections of gender, religion, and education. Participants will expand on the meaning of religious identity development, relate that development to lived experiences of women in schooling institutions, and draw implications for innovative educational policy today (the theme of AERA2014), especially as policy creates structures that influence gender equity.
