Based on recent special issues on constructivist learning and visual spatial talent from Frontiers in Educational Psychology and Roeper Review, to connecting information from neuroimaging, cognitive science, experimental psychology and education research, this symposium features emerging evidence from educational neuroscience and its potential to create a paradigm shift in the education policy and the science of learning to deepen our understanding of the learner in context. This panel will provide the audience with practical, well-articulated information to increase understanding in the strategic application of educational neuroscience to policy, neuroethics, and innovation in contemporary education.
