Problem-Based Education SIG Roundtable Session: Problem-Based Learning in K-12 Settings

Abstract
In this roundtable session, authors discuss problem-based learning in K-12 settings. The first paper discusses PBL as a strategy to help adolescent girls engage in mathematics. In the second, authors discuss the process of design critique in PBL in an elementary school context. In the third, the authors describe research on scaffolding to support socioscientific inquiry in a high school setting.
