Internal states of the learner have a profound impact on how they engage in academic task and teaching performance. Many of these internal states are cognitive in nature and reflect goals, believes, attitudes and metacognitive states. This poster session involves a variety of papers that explore the explore how variety of cognitive states support or hinder student and teacher outcomes or how aspects of the learning/teaching contexts affects those states.
