The climate of higher education is moving toward the need to secure external funding through grants. Moreover, grant writing can be intimidating for researchers with limited knowledge regarding the steps for application. As such, this session aims to educate its attendees on the process of finding and applying for grants in their respective field. Specifically, this session will provide research scholars with: (a) an introduction into grant writing, (b) an overview on the steps and processes in grant writing, and (c) recommendations and strategies for finding the right grant for your field or research interest.
