Mon, April 20, 10:35am to 12:05pm, Marriott, Floor: Sixth Level, Northwestern/Ohio State

Abstract

The VTAG project is evaluating the extent to which technology-enhanced items provide valid measurement of Common Core State Standards in elementary geometry. Using the lessons learned from the ongoing VTAG project, the authors present challenges and recommendations associated with conducting research on technology-enhanced items. The goal of this discussion is to support and guide researchers in conducting studies with the ultimate aim of building the base of research related to technology-enhanced assessment.
