Abstract

I reflect on my own experience by discussing the ethical challenges and methodological dilemmas that I personally encountered while conducting research with young children in Saudi Arabia. First, I present my epistemological assumptions pertaining to research with young children. Then, I provide a summary of my master’s thesis by presenting my research methods, data collection process and findings. Finally, I look through the lens of the Saudi Arabian context in order to reflect on the ethical decisions and methodological choices I made during the course of the research.
