A cross-sectional, comparative study was conducted among college students in mainland China and the United States to measure their differences in the Global Perspective. A self-administered survey with 36 questions that included six constructs - cross cultural awareness, perspective consciousness, state-of-the-planet, world collaboration, human choices, and personal growth – related to three domains (global attitude, global competency, and civic engagement) was provided to college students in both nations (US = 593; China = 597). Statistical analysis with SPSS using ANOVA with F-test, showed differences (p <0.05) in the mean responses for individual constructs by nationality and gender. The ratings of the importance of various constructs by nationality were found to be different.
