Abstract

We inquire into the identity making and curriculum making of individuals positioned as marginalized due to perceived deficits and wonder about the ways in which these individuals perceive themselves in terms of able-ness or disabled-ness. Particularly this inquiry understands the edges of community in fluid manners, positions marginalization in narrative terms, and sees the experience of the individual as primary for considering community. Poetic representation within an Narrative Inquiry framework is explored in this work.
