P–12 Educational iPad Research: A Literature Review

Abstract

Enormous investments in iPads are being made in PK-12 educational settings without knowledge of research or proof regarding iPads’ impact on teaching and learning. We sought to examine the knowledge base by performing a literature review of the empirical studies that involve iPad digital technology within the PK-12 space in order to glean its contributory role to aspects of teaching and learning in education.
