Student voice in the research archives is relatively rare. This research facilitated a way for six young Latino men with mild to moderate disabilities to share their ideas, opinions, and experiences. Their declarations provide educators with information beneficial to understanding how students with special needs navigate through positive and negative experiences on their way to the conclusion of their high school career. Their perspectives will enlighten educators from every facet of the education sphere to rethink their purpose for doing what they do each day. This research is meant to examine the quality, breadth, and suitability of the education received by Latino youth in a high school in a dense, urban, low socio-economic community from the student’s point of view.
