This paper aims at presenting one of the major studies in our project on introducing VISOLE (Virtual Interactive Student-Oriented Learning Environment) as a pedagogical framework for implementing COGBLe (Constructivist Online Game-Based Learning) in formal curriculum teaching at school. The present qualitative case study is a piece of design-based research to enhance/customize the designated teacher facilitation work in VISOLE in order to better support students in the academically achieving classroom (composed of relatively more non-gamers and examination-oriented learners ). The findings not only shed light on improving the existing design of VISOLE, but also provide insight into developing teacher facilitation practices for implementing COGBLe in school education.
