This paper will dispel the notion that the mind is the brain. Claims to the contrary have established a cottage industry in “Mind-Brain Education” (MBE). Instead of the familiar questions about what the mind does (e.g., thinks, feels, cognizes, imagines, remembers, etc.), we shift the focus to where the mind is located in order to avoid “the mereological fallacy.”
