In this paper, we share results of the development and evaluation of a leadership development program aimed at supporting teams of leaders to address dilemmas of practice. Our working assumption and now substantiated finding is that a leadership development network that intentionally differentiates and situates the learning for each person or team using a cognitive apprenticeship and modeling approach provides a learning environment for developing adaptive leadership mindsets. Further, by using an open, dialogic planning and critical reflective process about the learning needs of members in the Adaptive Leadership Network, we have identified a set of processes and practices that hold promise for adult learning that is conceptual, constructivist, and transformative.
