Co-teaching, implemented in our state in clinical practice by having the student teacher and cooperating teacher co-teaching the students, has been shown to have a positive impact on P-12 student learning. This study examined the perceived effectiveness of our implementation of this model, from the perspectives of teacher candidates, their cooperating teachers and university supervisors. Participants’ perceptions illustrate important components of clinical practice that should be addressed within teacher education programs
