A Mindful Solution to a Thought-Provoking Problem: Consideration of a Just Intervention in an Unjust Educational Climate

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to observe 4th graders before and after they experienced a 'mindfulness' intervention. I was interested in learning of attitudinal or dispositional changes after the intervention. Quantitative data was collected via the Freiburg Mindfulness Inventory, and qualitative was collected via observations before and throughout the intervention, and interviews post intervention.
