Abstract

This presentation explores an innovative model of teacher preparation for the 21st century. The inquiry examines multiple case studies of student teachers and cooperating teachers integrating new literacies while supported by a university coach. The aim was to create a collaborative environment for student teachers, cooperating teachers and a university coach that focuses on new literacies integration that transforms student learning. Results show that the approach cultivated collaborative learning leading to paradigm shift in new literacies integration.
