Abstract

Drawing upon a 4 year ethnography of queer and trans youth and adults in an informal educational space, the objective of this presentation is to examine the spaces where methodology and theory come together in qualitative research. Thinking through the spaces where theory works with research in the post qualitative moment. Drawing upon the work of Sedgwick (2008), I will suggest that a notion of besides offers the space between interpretation, solidification and the dismissal of coding or analysis.
