The purpose of this presentation is to share systematic review research conducted on dissertations nationally related to women and STEM. The policy implications related to this research are (a) gender to gender mentoring in STEM, (b) baseline research on women and STEM for future careers, and (c) how universities can promote dissertations on this topic. A systematic review of 179 relevant dissertations on the topic of Women and STEM for the past 2 decades were analyzed using Foster’s (2013) RIGOR system from the Center for Systematic Reviews at Texas A&M University.
