This paper explores the influence of instructional delivery method on pre-service educators understanding of educational law, ethics and professionalism. Using Allen and Seaman’s (2010) four categories of instructional modes, the study provides a comparative analysis of a pre-service preparation course on educational law, ethics and professionalism implemented across web facilitated, blended and online delivery models. Using a case study approach, the study highlights student perceptions of interactivity, engagement, and critical thinking within each delivery model and examines the impact of the instructional design on course outcomes and participant experience.
