Abstract

The main goal of this research was describing a physics teacher's Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) after a professional development program which was organized under the name of ‘Physics Teaching with Animations and Simulations’. One teacher was selected purposefully between 16 teachers for this study. The data gathered from microteaching video, lesson plan and open-ended questionnaire were analyzed descriptively according to TPACK model. The results showed that the teacher had positive attitudes and opinions about technology integration into physics teaching and he could use technologies which were appropriate with curriculum objectives. However, he needs more practice about integrating technologies with appropriate instructional strategies and using these technologies to identify student understanding, learning and thinking in a more effective way.
