Abstract

This proposal investigates how two pre-service teacher candidates developed their educational skills within the context of a collaborative teacher preparation program that integrated formal and Informal Science Institution (ISI). The theoretical premise of this study is embedded within the bricolage stance to meaning-making processes. Themes that emerged during the study linked the development of the pre-service teacher candidates’ pedagogical skills to their lived experiences and the structural features of the ISI.
