Abstract

Knowledge is not any longer transmitted from experts to non-experts, but is constructed through collaboration among a network of people. Teachers, like other knowledge workers, are encouraged to appreciate the evolving nature of teaching knowledge in context. The present study aimed to investigate the structural relationship between teachers’ personal epistemologies, knowledge sharing, and information evaluation within technology-enhanced environments. Implications for the teacher education programs designed to promote epistemological awareness through technology integration are discussed.
