Abstract

Using Deleuze & Guattari’s concept of becoming and de/reterritorialization and feminist new materialism, this paper presents data illustrating how children’s experiences with making things can be read as composition and argues that by reimagining what is meant by composition, educators can create alternative ways of engaging in literacy pedagogies.
