Promoting Multimedia Design Skills Through a Collaborative Service-Learning Project

Abstract

Instructional multimedia is widely used to support different types of students’ learning styles in the classroom. “Digital multimedia project,” a collaborative service-learning effort between a university teacher training program and local elementary schools, was designed to improve multimedia design skills of pre-service teachers. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the collaborative digital multimedia project and share the outcomes of the project.
