Institutes as Authentic Learning Experiences in Programs of Educational Leadership

Abstract

Institutes as a means of providing authentic learning experiences for doctoral students in the field of educational leadership are explored in this case study. The study examines data collected from multiple years of cohorts progressing through summer institutes intended to provide application and practice for theoretical foundations established in previous coursework.
