The Journal of Education for Students Placed At Risk (JESPAR) is uniquely focused on forwarding an intellectually broad range of articles examining issues related to--and possible interventions in--schools and classrooms serving large numbers of students who are at risk of failing to thrive. A major focus of JESPAR is on reforms intended to "turn around" historically low achieving schools and systems.
