Session Type: Symposium
Authors that have contributed chapters to the book, Innovations in Teaching and Learning Educational Psychology (in progress) will discuss both general issues and specific challenges in teaching educational psychology. Authors will also describe how they conceptualized their chapters, drew upon the (limited) literature investigation educational psychology instruction, and their recommendations to educational psychology faculty members regarding instructional innovations. The panel discussion will be facilitated by the co-editors of the book. It is anticipated that TEP SIG audience members will benefit from the opportunity to engage in discussion with the authors about issues that they find to be challenging when teaching educational psychology courses.
