65.056 - Sustaining Innovation in School Leadership Preparation and Development

Abstract
This workshop session involves an interactive group of current and past School Leadership Program grantees around their innovative practices and lessons learned about school leadership preparation and development, especially around the issue of sustainability of these practices upon completion of the grant. The workshop will allow SLP Grantees to share practical, usable lessons learned from their experiences with the grants, based on their research, project data, and practical experience. Grantees will focus on sustainable and innovative practices that promote other non-SLP projects can integrate into their own programs. Participants will share a variety of material with potential for implementation in their own leadership programs, and how the outcomes from their efforts have impact on policy making.
