Panel of union leaders, scholars, community activists examine the recent dynamics of policy and unions / community activism in Chicago. Viewed through the lens of neoliberal education policy, and the impact and limitations of building coalitions between various actors, potential to growing political impact vs. falling into the narrative of "union as problem" versus "union as collective voice of professionals and community members."
