This study investigated moral education in Germany looking at projects launched in different levels for socialization of family, day care, school, and youth employment in the years 2009 to 2014. We analyzed 167 projects on the issues (1) moral values, (2) objectives of moral education, and (3) used measures. Furthermore, we coded these issues according to an individual vs. a social orientation. Results indicate a very homogeneous picture regarding the ranking list on moral values, objectives, and used measures. These three issues were also adapted to the target group and the developmental stages of children. In addition, results show a specific pattern in the projects on moral education focusing on the social orientation of moral education in all investigated dimensions.
