The Role of College Information in Financial Aid Applications

Abstract

This study uses Educational Longitudinal Study of 2002 (ELS:2002) data to show that college information from family, school and university which students have utilized influence whether they will apply for financial aid. This study finds that getting information from counselors and college representatives are positively associated with financial aid application.
