Missed Opportunity: Students of Color and Dual Enrollment Opportunities

Abstract

A two phase, mixed methods research project identifies gaps in participation in dual enrollment courses and programming for students of color across the state. Through descriptive statistics and multi-site case study, I highlight where students have access, the type and location of high school providing opportunities and address the structural racism that serves as barriers to the success of students of color in postsecondary education.
