Members present their collaborative PDS video-based action research study aimed at improving classroom teaching performances. The study took place within a two-year NYS grant-funded project entitled CLIPS – Career Ladder Innovator Programs and System (2013-2015). The study involved analyzing video-recorded lessons taught by teacher candidates in CLIPS classrooms and measuring the instructional changes that took place under the guidance and coaching efforts of inservice teachers. The inservice teachers in the project, who were preparing to become CLIPS teacher-leader innovators and action researchers, collaborated with the 11th cohort of PDS action researchers to conduct the study. Using a variety of observational tools, performance criteria and rubrics, changes in performance scores were recorded and measured over time. Findings of the study are presented.
