Abstract

A well-designed graph can significantly improve the communication of content, and a poorly designed graph, in contrast, can lead to confusion. Understanding the worth of graphs in the field of education is important. Good decision-making in schools hinges on using data well, and extracting useful information from data is facilitated by interacting with data graphics. In this study we analyze and compare data graphics from leading journal in the field of education. Results point to the need for added vigilance on the part of journal editors.
